The rules are simple:
Grab your current read.
Let the book fall open to a random page.Share with us two (2) “teaser” sentences from that page, somewhere between lines 7 and 12.
You also need to share the title of the book that you’re getting your “teaser” from … that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given!
Please avoid spoilers!
Here is my teaser:
"She didn't bother talking to me unless it was to make death threats."
The teaser is from p. 61 of The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao by Junot Díaz, and it is by far the best book I have read in a very long time. I am not finished yet, though, but am sitting here wondering why the heck I haven't gotten around to read it before now, since I have owned it for more than a year.....

LOL, Mary, its a pretty humorous book, so if you laughed you got the whole tone of the book. Its very well written, by the way :o)

Good teaser. Isn't it always the way with books that sit around on your shelves?
Interesting teaser
That's a great teaser. And in just one sentence too. But it was all you needed, a real whopper.
Here's my TT. Doesn't have nearly as much ooomph to it, though. :-)
Woo-hoo! I'm glad you're enjoying this one!
Sounds like they've got an interesting relationship - if he is getting death threats from her!
Here's my Teaser! ~ Wendi
You made me laugh too! I am off to check this book out further and then to put it on my tbr/wish list. Sounds like a great book both from you and many others!

I really like it and the funny thing is, that yesterday, as I was reading the Saturday paper (Danish) there was a review of it in there. Apparently it has just been translated to Danish. I am going to recommend it to all reading friends who does not read in English now :-)
